Costa Rica Ziplining
Many places in Costa Rica have canopy tours with elevated walkways, viewing platforms, and suspension bridges through the rainforest at canopy level. Additionally, zipline tours provide the perfect Tarzan experience. We were strapped into harnesses and hooked onto a cable and pulley system traversing from tower to tower. The scenery was beautiful but I mostly spent the time screaming alot. This particular zipline tour in Monteverde, Sky Trek, is considered one of the best in Costa Rica and in central America. It has 11 ziplines … the longest of which is 2526 feet long, and the highest of is 426 feet high.
