Finally it was time to head back to Santa Elena!  We boarded another boat to make the trek back across Lake Arenal where we met our driver.  The drive back was harrowing and dusty, and I have no idea how he knew the way (no signs, no landmarks, no nothing!).  We did pass many small time ranchers bringing home their empty milk containers after dropping off their goods at the cheese factory.
